القوّة الإحصائيّة [Statistical power]

تعريف: القوة الإحصائيَّة هي الاحتماليَّة على المدى الطَّويل بأنَّ الاختبار الإحصائي يرفض بشكل صحيح الفرضيَّة الصِّفريَّة إذا كانت الفرضيَّة البديلة صحيحة. يتراوح من 0 إلى 1، ولكن غالبًا ما يتم التَّعبير عنه كنسبة مئويَّة. يمكن تقدير القدرة باستخدام معيار الأهميَّة (ألفا)، وحجم التَّأثير، وحجم العيِّنة المستخدمة في تقنيَّة تحليل محدَّدة. هناك نوعان من التَّطبيقات الرَّئيسيَّة للقوّة الإحصائيَّة. قوة مسبقة حيث يطرح الباحث السُّؤال “بالنَّظر إلى حجم التَّأثير، كم عدد المشاركين الذين سأحتاجهم للحصول على قوة معينة؟”. أما قوّة الحساسيَّة فتطرح السُّؤال التَّالي: “نظرًا لحجم عيّنة معروف، ما هو حجم التَّأثير الذي يمكنني اكتشافه بقوّة معيّنة؟”. المصطلحات ذات الصِّلة: حجم التَّأثير ، التَّحليل البعدي، اختبار دلالة الفرضيَّة الصِّفريَّة ، تحليل القوّة، القيمة التَّنبؤيَّة الإيجابيَّة، البحث الكمي، حجم العيِّنة، معيار الأهميَّة (ألفا) ، الخطأ من النَّوع الأوّل ،الخطأ من النُّوع الثَّاني. المصطلحات ذات الصِّلة بالتَّعريف البديل: الخطأ من النُّوع الثَّاني.
