PCI (Peer Community In)

Definition: Peer Community In (PCI) is a non-profit organisation that coordinates free, transparent peer review of preprints through communities of researchers in different disciplines. Following review and any necessary revisions, a recommender may recommend a preprint, and the recommendation and review history are made publicly available. This allows research to be evaluated and recognised independently of publication in a journal. Authors can leave their recommended work in an open repository or subsequently publish it in a journal.
