Replications
- A high-powered replication study finds no effect of starting or stopping hormonal contraceptive use on relationship quality, Jern et al. (2018). Evolution and Human Behavior. Outcome recorded: failed.
Despite excellent statistical power (≥98.7%), and close procedural replications of two out of three previous studies (Cobey et al., 2013; Roberts, Little, et al., 2014), we did not find support for the HC congruency hypothesis.
