Outcome recorded: successful. These findings are consistent with those of a similar nested case–control study previously conducted in Finland, in which the exposure to prolactin-increasing antipsychotics for ≥5 years was associated with a 56% overall increased odds of breast cancer, as well as increased odds for both ductal (aOR = 1.42) and lobular adenocar-cinoma (aOR = 2.36), in women with schizophrenia.
