Replications
- Externalizing problems and reward–punishment sensitivity: Testing within-person reciprocal associations in an elementary school sample—A replication of Ramer et al. (2024), Høstmælingen et al. (2026). Developmental Psychology. Outcome recorded: mixed.
As in the U.S. study, we conducted analyses allowing for distinguishing between-person effects and within-person effects over time. A key difference was that we did not find support for reciprocal relationships between BAS and oppositional problems or between BIS and conduct problems. Apart from this, the results were largely similar in the two studies.
