Reproductions
- Robustness report on "Discretionary tax changes and the macroeconomy: New narrative evidence from the United Kingdom", by James Cloyne (2013) [Working paper], Kopecky et al. (2024). Outcome recorded: computationally reproducible, robustness challenges.
Computational: We first computationally reproduce all impulse response figures and regression results in Cloyne (2013) using the data and code provided by the authors on the AER website. We are able to perfectly replicate his results, though when reporting p-values have some trouble initially finding exactly those reported in the text as they are not included in the replication package.
Outcome read from Computational: p. 2, fulltext.
