The Lonely Mouse – Single Housing Affects Serotonergic Signaling Integrity Measured by 8-OH-DPAT-Induced Hypothermia in Male Mice
Has this study been replicated?
The atlas records 1 replication of this study. Recorded outcomes: 1 failed. The earliest on record is from 2019.
Replications
- Failure to replicate? Exacerbated 8-OH-DPAT-induced hypothermia could not be established in single housed mice when tested as part of a battery of depression tests, Skriver et al. (2019). Outcome recorded: failed.
In the present study, we were unable to replicate our previous findings showing an exacerbated 8-OH-DPAT-inducible hypothermic response in single housed male C57BL/6 mice over their group housed counterparts (Kalliokoski et al. 2014).
