- Appraising Loftus and Palmer (1974) Post-Event Information versus Concurrent Commentary in the Context of Sport, Goldschmied et al. (2017). Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology. Outcome recorded: failed.
We conducted two experiments. The first was a conceptual sport replication of Loftus and Palmer's (1974) seminal study in which participants observed a collision event and were then questioned about the physical contact using subtle word modifications. Our results did not support any framing effects.
