In the current study, we demonstrate that subjects integrate their current level of uncertainty about the available visual evidence with the prior distribution learned from the task to generate motor behavior that optimally compensates for the imposed shift. In other words, they perform Bayesian integration during sensorimotor learning. Our results therefore replicate those of Körding and Wolpert (2004).
