- New data fails to replicate the small-scale radiocarbon anomalies in the early second millennium CE, Scifo et al. (2024). Outcome recorded: failed.
Our results, although statistically consistent with those presented in the original publication, show effectively no increase in Δ 14 C (1 and 2.5 times the measurement error, respectively).
