For humor, this study replicated Wanzer and Frymier (1999) findings. The correlations between learning indicators and humor orientation (H2a) were almost identical (r = .44 and .46, respectively; p < .001). Similarly, both studies revealed similar statistically significant relationships between humor orientation and non- verbal immediacy (H2b; r = .60 and .61, respectively; p < .001).
